Our Curriculum

Our Curriculum Ethos at Nantwich Primary Academy.

We plan carefully to make sure that our children are engaged, challenged and motivated to learn and grow.

Excellence and enjoyment are central pillars of our school ethos. Learning and fun go hand in hand as we support our children in their development towards becoming independent and creative learners. In addition to gaining language, mathematical and scientific skills our children are encouraged to build confidence, develop self reliance, learn to make decisions and develop the ability to articulate feelings and ideas.

We aim to ensure that our curriculum meets the needs of all our children and is delivered in a way that promotes active hands on learning. We take great pride in our local community, its culture and environment and strive to ensure our curriculum involves our children experiencing this in as many ways as possible through educational visitors and trips.

Please have a look at the overview files at the bottom of this page, to view our year group curriculum maps, and also our topic ladders, showing you the skills overview for the pupils.
